Garden Registration FAQ

Garden Registration FAQ

What is different about the registration process for 2026?

The process has moved to an online environment where gardeners send us a form letting us know they are interested in renewing the plots they had last year. Renewals are due February 13th, 2026. Any renewals submitted after that date are not guaranteed the same plots as last year.
This is the first year for this system and all returning gardeners must first register. We hope that next year will be even easier.

Do plots cost the same as last year?

Plot prices are the same as they were in the 2025 growing season. We have not instituted a price increase this year.

When is payment due?

The sooner the better! Payment is due no later than six weeks after your invoice arrives, after which, your plots will be forfeit.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We continue to use personal or bank-issued checks, money orders, or cash. Cash is only accepted in-person and in exact amounts – we do not carry change. Please do not come in outside of open office hours posted on our website; there will be no one here who can help you. If you cannot come during office hours, email us to schedule an appointment.

How do I pay?

Payments must be issued by mail or brought to our office in person. See our website for our mailing address and open office hours.

After I submit my form, when can I expect to hear back about my renewal?

We are hoping that this process allows a much speedier turnaround from our staff than in the past. Invoices for on-time renewals will be sent out within one week of submission of the online form.

Are gardeners able to make specific requests such as adding or changing plots?

Yes. There is a specific option in the form for special requests such as adding or changing plots, as well as a text box at the end of the form in which gardeners can make requests or specify anything important.

What if I don’t have email?

Garden rental registration is possible in-person during posted office hours.
